Do you know of the dangers of BPA in the lining of cans?

I just came across this article. I don’t use many canned goods except diced tomatoes which are the base for many recipes I use.
I have never seen frozen tomatoes nor do I remember seeing plain tomatoes in glass. Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative?
