I think my feet are swelling?

Okay so recently when I’ve put on shoes that have fit for years, they’re a bit snugger than they used to be. Some of them are fine, but others are too uncomfortable to wear anymore. Is it possible for feet to swell?

I’ve gained weight in the last year, but only ten pounds. Also, I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I recently moved to Manhattan from suburbia. I used to drive everywhere, even a block away, and now I’m walking. Could it be that walking around made my feet swell?

Just a random weird question. Nothing too dire.
