Do electronic cigarettes solve a social problem when I have friends over to party?

I heard a discussion today about electronic cigarettes and I had a brainstorm.
I have a couple of buddies who smoke. I smoked when I was in the service and, while I wish they would quit, I understand the habit.
My friends know I don’t want them smoking in my house, so they don’t, but they wind up going outside. That’s OK in the summer I suppose, but during the holiday season I like to throw a couple of parties, and if it is cold out, I feel sort of bad about it.
So I figured this year I might buy a couple of E-Cigs and give them to the guys to use at the party. That way, they are happy, and nobody else is bothered. What do you think?
