How do you feel about living on the outskirts of Los Angeles?

There are people on Facebook who live in Huntington Beach and other beautiful towns in the Los Angeles suburbs who love it so much. They rave about the climate , the restaurants, the beaches and the scenery and don’t mention traffic. If you know about the area and live there now or have simply heard about it what is it about southern California that makes you swoon?
