How can I get more followers on tumblr?

I just started a tumblr for my photography, I need more followers, and I’m not sure how to get them. Suggestions?

Hey, welcome to Fluther.
If you go to school or live near a school campus, maybe you could make small, attractive flyers to post up, showing samples of your photography, with your Tumblr name. I’m sure hipper folks will be able to come up with some better suggestions.

The easiest way generally (or so it seems) is to follow a lot of like-minded folks on Tumblr and ask them to follow you. Many Tumblrers seem to do it automatically.
