Does anyone know what kind of hair loss this is? (Pictures included)

New to Fluther but thought i’d ask this question to see if anyone here can give me information or knows what I’m going through….

I am female, 23, and these are recent pics of my hair.

My hair started thinning ONLY at the temples starting when I was 18. Flash forward 5 years later to now, my temples are getting thinner and thinner and I don’t know what to do.

Could it be a hormone issue since it is the temples and men usually start balding there?

Does anyone know someone who has dealt with something similar?

I am a young female only slowly losing hair at her temples… if anyone has info let me know
