How do you rid yourself of the stench of a hibachi restaurant?

I went out to dinner today at a hibachi restaurant that we go to often. Unfortunately I made the mistake of wearing the sweater that I was planning on wearing again tomorrow. After leaving the restaurant, I smelled strongly like oil, grease, and spices. I don’t think the ventilation in the restaurant is very good. What should I do to my sweater to try to get rid of them smell so I can wear it tomorrow without smelling funny?
