Does anyone know the how-to-draw book I'm looking for?

Okay, this is a long shot, but I love Fluther and it’s awesome.

A long time ago, I found a how-to-draw book at Barnes and Nobles. I’m pretty sure it was about anime. Although not 100% I was younger and didn’t have my own money and so I didn’t buy it. But I remember really liking it. I only vaguely remember some things. I remember it was somewhat snarky. You know how some how-to-draw books have one or more little characters as if they’re guiding you through the book? I know there was a guy and girl character. I think they cursed here and there mildly, or at least said some suggestive things. And then there was a page about learning how to draw exaggerated features in cartoons, and one example they had was drawing a character with a bloated belly, and one of the little characters was complaining about why they had to choose this example. Something like that. Anyway, I just remember really liking the book because I found its techniques useful.
