Did the IcyHot affect my leg?

Yesterday I pulled a muscle in my calf playing football at lunch, and today I put IcyHot on at 8:00am and 1:10pm, then tonight at about 9pm I took a shower, and when I was in the shower my leg started to burn really bed, I mean really bad. So then I tried to wash my leg with a lot of soap, with no outcome. As of right now I am sitting in my bed typing this with my leg still feeling like its in fire. Is this the IcyHot or my calf doing this?
