What other styles of mandolin should I look into? Any good mandolin sheet music you know of?

Asked by roysters5 (64points) June 19th, 2013

I am an intermediate-advanced player when it comes to my mandolin. But I am having a hard time finding sheet music to my liking, which is very disappointing. As much as I appreciate bluegrass and country, I’m ready for something different.

I love gypsy punk (like Gogol Bordello), gypsy, classical, Greek mandolin that is played on the bouzouki, and music that is played on an octave mandolin. Anything fun and crazy, to soft and melodious. :)

Does anyone know of any good mandolin books, sites, or similar styles that I could look into? Anything that helps spark the muse inside of me would be appreciated. :)
