Would you say that it is normal to consume this much alcohol in one night?

I do not drink all that often but when I do I get pretty drunk to say the least. Tonight I am already half way through a fifth of vodka and plan on finishing it. People say I must have an exceptionally high tolerance to alcohol because I can drink an entire fifth and go back and drink about another half a fifth and be ok.
