[NSFW] Any truth to the saying, "The darker the berry, the sweeter the juice."?

Asked by ETpro (34605points) July 20th, 2013

I’ve been reluctant to bring this up, even though I truly do want to know the answer and am not, at this time, in position to do the research myself. However, I’ve been reluctant to ask, because I can just hear the jeers and taunts about the question being racist.

I do not for one moment accept that charge. If there were not clear, observable differences between the races, we would not know race exists, would we? We know there are differences. We can and do observe them.

So I am asking those who have had a chance to sample enough juices to tell, is the saying “The darker the berry the sweeter the juice.” true or false? Are the sweetest “berries” white, yellow, brown, red, or black? If there’s any truth to the saying, does it apply to the juice from males and females alike, or is the sweetness limited to a single sex?

We’ve just been challenged by the President of the United States to begin a national and perhaps international discussion about race, so this seems the time to shed my fears about false charges of racism, and satisfy my curiosity about life’s essential juices and their sublime taste. If I had my pick and valued a sweet, full-bodied flavor, which color “berry” should I juice?
