It feels like there's a knot in my chest whenever I swallow?

Ever since today, whenever I swallow anything it feels like there’s a knot in my chest. It’s basically right above my stomach, and it hurts really bad. I’m hungry because I haven’t eaten all day, but I can’t eat because it hurts too much when it passes that knot. I’ve been drinking water to keep myself hydrated but I can only drink tiny sips at a time so it doesn’t hurt as bad.

I pulled a muscle in my back the other day, and I’m thinking that is the reason. But why would it affect my throat right above my stomach? I’m also sick, could that be a reason why?

If not, why do I have this? What can I do to fix it so I can eat and drink again?
