What type of animal can skin a six to eight inch rodent and leave the body?

This is silly but I didn’t realize how disturbed I was until I laid down and tried to go to sleep.

I found this animal with out any fur on it just a lot of tissue and well grass and stuff stuck to it outside the door.

It doesn’t look like my cat’s work she can avoid certain innards but eats the whole thing including fur. She always leaves her leftovers by the door past the enclosed stair door where this animal ended.

Also the bugs were flying over it but none were crawling or landing on it.

I have a pretty strong stomach but this almost made me sick and now everytime I close my eyes I see it. Maybe if I knew there was an animal capable of doing this and why they would it’d be less creepy.
