Who on fluther hates it when their question is removed by moderators because it seems like a poll?

I have just had one of my questions removed because it seems like a poll, and to be honest I wanted that! I wanted to find out which internet browser would be better for me to use on my PC out of Safari and Firefox 3. I’ve also just seen that the “who is your favorite starwars character?” removed too. I honestly don’t see what the deal is with the questions. “Tap the collective” that sounds like you’re wanting to tap the minds of people and find out their opinions on subjects and so on, so a poll-like question is pretty much perfect, and if someone wants to expand on their answer that’s great! I honestly didn’t see any problem with my question or the star wars one. It was obvious what both of the askers wanted.
