Is it me? I find American sitcoms not funny. Maybe I don't get it?

Two and half men? The new one? I don’t think it’s funny and that “meeeen’ thing or chord everytime it’s supposed to be ’ snap’ just, makes me mad. I don’t get these sit coms!! Is it because I’m Australian, but they show them here and people think it’s funny. What am I not getting?
