What is the fine and jail term my daughter may receive for this?

Some lowlife on her street stole a lot of wire from her and put it all around his vegetable garden. Her son noticed it, got wire cutters and brought it back. What will their fines be for this theft ? Another man she called a “friend” did a lot for her . He asked her to feed his dogs while he’s gone. So she went in his house for the dog food and found her sterling bracelet she was missing and got it. She also got two other things he took. Something bad is getting ready to happen in that awful neighborhood.
