Gaming Gift for a Male Friend?

I’m looking for a gift for a friend of mine. We’re both in highschool and his birthday is near the start of October. We play a lot of the same games- Legend of Zelda/Pokemon- and that’s pretty much how our friendship started.
What good presents can I get him?? He’s turning 18, so I’m willing to spend $30—$36. I need ideas though- help please!
