Are human beings like artwork?

Some cheap, some put more effort into, some spent more time becoming who they are, some simplistic, authentic, minimalist, some are chaotic and vague… I don’t know. You get the point.

In this case if I think a man is completely amazing in all ways, should I work for him and pursue him? Or does whats meant to happen eventually happen with the people we want too. It seems we have control over our creative works, but what about people? We can work hard on a project spending days and nights on it, but is love the same way too?

Someone who seems absolutely perfect to my eyes in all ways lost interest in me without even meeting me. Its a complicated story but he said his goodbye. He is this perfect piece of artwork and I ruined the chance of meeting him. Bottom line question is are humans comparable to artworks and if so, how do we get the one we want and how do we become the one we want?
