Does the impending closure of Sweet Briar College portend the end for private womens' colleges that cater to the ultra-rich?

I’m surprised it lasted this long.

Sweet Briar is (was) a college level finishing school for (primarily) the daughters of rich white girls whose fathers had made lots of money. Yes, there were some scholarship level students, but not many.

Is the end near for single-sex womens’ colleges catering to the wealthy?
