My guy friend confuses me ,can you help me with his behavior?

My friend is graduating from college this year. After graduation, he is planning on traveling. I ask him about it and he told me ” You are coming too.” I told him I am not and there’s other people he can go with and he got all quiet. Then he ask me about the other guys in my life and I told him I have a lot of guys. I was joking around, but I think he got mad. After that,we then started talking about other stuff and all he can say is “that’s interesting.” I got mad and told him he is an asshole because he’s not really paying attention to me. Now he is giving me the silent treatment. I don’t know what’s going on.
