Is Iphone 4s still good to use this 2016?

Hi, my Asus Zenfone was stolen and I was planning to switch to iOS for a change. I’m about to buy this Iphone 4s (rarely used) that’s sold to me for $80. I’d like to know if you think it’s still good to use now that it’s 2016? Would it be okay for longtime use or temporary? If not, would you recommend me better phones to buy? I use phones like, 60% for communication, 30% for media and 10% for games. Thank you very much!
