What is your opinion of Pope Francis?

Its been interesting observing the ever evolving opinions of Pope Francis shift direction over the years. I remember when he first became pope, with everyone claiming that he was the refreshing change the Catholic Church needed.

He’s been quite the controversial figure since then, causing quite a stir in the media. From his opposing views to marriage equality, his transphobic attitudes, refusing to meet with a French diplomat on the bases of his sexuality, his opposing views on same sex parenting, supporting anti-gay marriage clerk Kim Davis, and his view that opposing the marriage equality laws in the United States is a human right.
