How do you feel when you see your fav actor / character in a bad shape after couple of years?

Recently saw pic of Home Alone kid turned into guy and he was looking terrible… due to drug abuse may be. Same is the case with Lindsey Lohan. She may not be my favorite but still its hard to believe what she has turned into. How would you feel in such scenario?
