Can't hear sound on outgoing calls Nexus 5x?

Everything works except this portion. I updated to 6.1 so not sure if this issue is related to the update. I checked sound on youtube and it works so it’s just outgoing calls. Text and internet works. I can make outgoing calls, the screen shows it’s dialing the contact but no audio. I can’t tell if they’re picking up. Any fix to this? I know I can contact Google by email but wanted to check here first. I searched the web for help but didn’t really have much luck.
