I just spent two hours trying to uninstall Wondershare MobileGo software to transfer texts from my cell phone to computer,it did not work! Is there an easier safer way of doing this transfer?

I “just” wanted to save texts messages onto my desktop computer.
I have too many on my phone so wanted to keep these , to maybe printout later on the computer?
Is there an easier way other than writing or photgraphiny my cell phone messages?
I downloaded the above program and it copied “all” my information!
I quickly uninstalled it ( even though I clicked on the texts only tab?
There must be an easier way other than purchasing a software program that will install on my computer and tap into?
