Was there hostile contact between US and Honduran forces with Nicaraguan forces during Operation Golden Pheasant in 1988?

This operation was launched in response to Nicaraguan Sandinista incursions into Honduras against Nicaraguan Contras using Honduras as a sanctuary.

This was apparently a joint operation. Based on the casualty stats provided at the end of the article, Honduran forces probably had hostile contact with Nicaraguan incursion forces. However, did US forces also engage in hostile contact with the Nicaraguan military inside Honduras? Or did they just stay in the background, providing support, just like they did in Vietnam during Operation Lam Son 719?
