Persistant congestion with cough - what worked for you?

Hi All, so I’ve been sick pretty much since the start of winter and I’m still not over it, so 6 weeks. I have taken antibiotics and they helped a tiny amount but hard to know really. I have a wet productive cough, chest and lungs clear but I can’t shake the post-nasal drip. What have you guys used when it sticks around? Nothing seems to work, perhaps it’s falling into allergy territory – happens every Winter. Thoughts?
Ps: I’m going back to Dr’s today so not asking for medical advice, just asking for personal advice on what’s worked for you if you’ve been in a similar boat – the snot boat.
