What are some uses of apple cider vinegar?

So, I needed some apple cider vinegar for a recipe and found that the store had 32 oz. bottles of the stuff on sale for less than the 16 oz. bottle.
I bought the larger bottle figuring that there must be other good uses for it, and now I’m looking for suggestions. I understand that some people drink the stuff. If it’s good to drink, how do you prepare it? Do you drink it cold, with ice? How much do you dilute it? What else do you add to it?
Is it somehow regarded as a health food? jw
