Why the overkill? Surely there’s some law of diminishing returns when spinning the news. My mother-in-law is no more and no less bamboozled now than she was back in the days of “real” news. And it seems like we—on the whole—do less and less to teach children how to think critically with every passing day. Why would the owners use a firehose where an eyedropper would be more than sufficient?
