What can I do while waiting?

I seem to always be waiting for something. Waiting in the doctors office. Waiting for delivery of parcels and food. Waiting for the neighbor to take his laundry out of the wash so that I can do my laundry. Waiting for pills to take affect. Waiting for a television show to start.
What can I do while waiting? Like go on internet, read a book, ect.
Also how much time do you spend waiting?
