For entertainment purposes: ambiguous or enigmatic newspaper headlines?

In economizing on word count, headline writers often write some doozies. Some are intelligible only if you already have plenty of context, some are muddled by capitalization, and some depend on where you place the stress.

Here are two from today’s New York Times online:

What’s an Australian catsuit, and why is she wearing it open?

Norman Golb, Dead Sea Scrolls Contrarian, Is Dead at 92

Dead once, dead twice?

Yes, thanks, I do know what these headlines are saying. But they still caused a double-take.
