Is it unreasonable to be ticked off when an electrician made an appointment to be at your house between 8am and 3pm and calls at 5 pm to reschedule?

Electrician never text or called me all day. No communication whatsoever. At 2:50 pm I called the electrician to confirm that he was still coming and was told that he was on his way. At 4 pm I phoned the electrician but no one answered. At 5 pm the electrician called me to reschedule.

I told the electrician that he has no consideration and bad communication and that makes me question his technical skills and forget about rescheduling. I’ll find someone that will help me. And then I hung up.

I suppose that I must accept part of the blame. I should have called the electrician every hour on the hour to demand communication. HA!
