Where can I find inexpensive eyeglasses in NYC or Brooklyn?

have just broken my glasses and can't wear my contacts every day. does anyone know where to get fairly inexpensive eyeglasses in new york or brooklyn. pretty fast is best. oh- and i guess i'll need the exam too. thanks.
