Has your tv watching ever made your mother question the sanity of her children?

Way back in the day, my sisters and I were rabid X Files fans. We were all home from college one time, and Mom sat down to watch with us to see what all of the fuss was about. Well, that was the airing of the episode “Home” (which was subsequently banned from television for 3 years). Mom looked at us with a very disturbed expression and left the room without comment. Have you had anything similar happen?
