What old habit, custom or routine did you do as a kid but rarely or never do now?

Today, I was dusting my dog’s fur off my velour blanket and it reminded me how we used to always dust off our sheets and covers before making our beds in the morning. We used to also change our sheets every Saturday which required a routine of spraying down the mattress with Lysol or rubbing alcohol and letting the mattress be bare for at least an hour before covering it up again. If the weather was nice we also opened the windows for the mattress to so call get refreshed.

For a few years, I still practiced spaying the mattress with Lysol and vacuuming but now I only do that maybe once every 3 months. Not every weekend since I have a mattress cover that I just take off and wash.
