Graphic Design: Client wants too many pictures, what to do?

It’s a CD project (booklet, CD cover, and Tray)

The client (also a “friend” ) wants:
1. A preamble
2. A picture for every song
In addition to All the lyrics, credits, cover, cd cover, back cover, another picture on side 1 of the tray (so when you take out the CD it reveals it) etc.

Do you guys think that I should just do it instead of trying to explain to him that it will not look good, less is more etc. (I kind of mentioned it to him once)

But in this case, all the songs are dedicated to the people whose pictures he wants in the booklet.

I’m afraid it’ll end up looking like a freaking yearbook.

Have you guys seen a picture included for Every Song in a CD along with the lyrics?
