How does Wal-Mart deal with new release video games?

Do they put them out right at midnight? Or will they wait just until someone decides to stock it?

The reason I'm asking is because I forgot to pre-order Bioshock and I figure the best way to get it tonight or early tomorrow morning would be Wal-Mart or Target.
