Wouldn’t it be useful to be able to see how many people are following a question?

I might answer a question differently if I knew an unusally large number of people were observing. Depending on the question, sometimes I sense that there are many more folks lurking than just those who have answered already. When that’s the case, I’d like to know that.

It wouldn’t really infringe on anyone’s privacy. Right now we can see how many people are observing the question in that moment. I don’t care about that as much as how many people are following and will see the next response.

I’m curious about others’ opinions on this topic. Is this a good idea?
