What are the possible sign of getting fired?

The economy is bad and the company is not doing well either. I am new just joinned them last month and there are chances that they might be downsizing. They will probably fire me since i am less valuable and probably because i am an asian also. Should i talk to my boss about this? Or should i forget about everything and move on? Or start applying other jobs now? Advice needed . thank you !
