How do I make a private policy and agreement page?

Hey again. As some of you know, I’m building a web site, but its launch is still in the works. On my site I’ll be collecting emails, so I figure I’ll need a privacy page to explain what I will be doing with these emails. Can anyone tell me how I can go about writing one up. Is there some standard form I can follow?

Also, I will be selling two e-books through my site, and I want to include some sort of user agreement to protect myself from lawsuits basically. Is a user agreement the right way to protect myself from lawsuits when it comes to purchased digital content?
