What is the name of the film or cinema-plex or what-have-you that had very large and spectacular footage of the US countryside (like the Grand Canyon etc) relatively early in film history?

Most of the details are in the question. I can’t remember much more than this. I very much would like to go to the complex or cinema where this shows but cannot remember more than that it existed once. I don’t even know if it still does. I believe the screen was panoramic. I also think there was a score that went with it, but I can’t really remember. Heard about it on NPR or some such. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks!
