Why is there a lot of water collecting in the floorboard of my Camry when I turn on the air conditioning on a humid day? If this is just condensation, shouldn't it drain outside the car?

2003 Toyota Camry, only happens on humid days, only happens when I run the air conditioning, water is clear and relatively clean, water drains onto floor from center console “hump”, a 90 minute drive could deposit 8 ounces of water on the floor.
