Should I give my landlady a holiday gift?

My landlady is awesome and I love my apartment. She rents it definitely cheaper than she could for the area, it’s big and well lit, and she’s super friendly. I see her out and about sometimes (she lives next door) and she’s always nice. They are super generous with the heat. She worked with me when I moved in (she was going to have to repaint anyway, so she let me choose the color), let me start moving in half a month early because the previous tenant had already cleared out, is generally a good landlady.

Would it be weird to give her something like a batch of cookies or some chocolates because it is the holiday? Her family owns the block of apartments, so she’s not just the manager (if that makes a difference).

I don’t know if it is appropriate or not, but she’s a great landlady, the apartment is great, I’d enjoy showing some appreciation.
