How do you read ?

Do you read loudly whenever possible? Do you read to urself in your mind? or do u simply digest words without needing the sound of the words in your mind? I read to myself in my mind.

I am trying to learn whether is it possible to overcome that reading ‘sound’ in my mind. It probably wil help me digest information in a different way.
