Which is worse for your hand--mouse or trackpad?

In one day I have never used a computer as much as I did yesterday. I basically doubled my usual amount of time because I was working on a project on AVID.

I wake up this morning and my right hand was so sore! I feel a pain when I open and close my hand, and a definite pain when I move my clicking finger up and down. Obviously this isn’t a major pain, it’s just annoying.

Today I have no class, so I’m going to try to recuperate from this injury (lol). Should I be using trackpad or mouse. Of course use neither is always an option, but what am I suppose to do, read a book? lol4rl I know

I’m for sure that there are people who’s jobs require them to be on a computer more than I was yesterday; how do they do it?
