Got a clever way to "get back" at a co-worker?

I overheard this peice of dookie telling corporate that “when it comes right down to, we can do without Cindie (me), I can do her job”. This guy is looking for a raise and thought he would save corporate money if he talked them into eliminating my job. I thanked him for throwing me under the bus. My boss says my job is safe and this guy just needs to shut his pie hole. I want to kinda “teach him a lesson”, the only thing I’m coming up with is tripping him next time he walks by.
