Suggestion/advice for sleepover?

I’m hosting a birthday sleepover for my 8-year-old stepdaughter and 11 of her little friends… (all girls). I have never done this before, am not the “girliest” person in the world, and have enlisted the help of my best friend, while my husband is safely out of the house.
So.
There will be pizza and cake and videos, but what are some other things for them to do? Aren’t you supposed to give little gift bags these days? What are some non-consumeristic ideas for goodie bags?
