Rove failed to show before congress, again. Is it really a case of national security?

Asked by free (125points) February 23rd, 2009

OK, the charge of political bias has been leveled in regards to the dismissal of several US attorneys, since when is this a matter of national security? Rove is hiding under Bush’s invocation of immunity from prosecution, executive privilege. If Rove is a patriot should he show respect? He could choose not to answer certain questions, this was the way it used to be, the security exemption was never used as a blanket excuse. Is it time for congress to make a stand, to declare the end of the Bush legacy of disregard for the workings of the law?

none of us are legal scholars(I guess)so this is more like a poll…should Rove be forced to appear?
