Gut wrenching music, anyone?

I am trying to finish a project and need to get a little deeper. Music always does it, and I am looking for music that draws the depth out of you. I just discovered this great cellist David Darling. Pretty stirring. Also if you know something along those lines Gorercki “Miserere”. I realize this might be a bit specific but thought it was worth a try. I have searched itunes to pieces but to no avail. Does anyone know of moving music they would recommend. The genre is not too important although I will say a ballad but Guns and Roses is not exactly what I had in mind, but if it moves you, please share. Thanky.
